Crosspower was formally established as a trust in 1994. Under the basis of operating a gym of home-made equipment, Sully housed it in a warehouse in Otara. Eventually the gym expanded into a youth centre and ended up occupying 4 adjoining warehouses. Two satellite youth centres were established in two parts of Otara and alternative education programme was started.
